For an "insider", this person doesn't have much common sense. This is the internet. MANY people claim to be "insiders" and know-it-alls and even take the time out to make "proof".
If this person was a Sony employee, why would you risk your job to show something like this?
Not just that, but why does the person feel they have to "prove" anything in the first place?
So yeah, while I do feel those pics might be legit,...
The limited edition part came from the limited version of mgs4. Not the console itself
But I think it's more the fact that Sony is put under a microscope and people literally HUNT for any information.
In other words, I agree with you
Remember, they were sued over false advertisement of the Wii version of the game. On the box it says Stereo Sound. But the game actually only outputs Mono sound.
So if you advertisement something and try to shaft your customers by not giving what was advertised, then yeah the company SHOULD be sued. Simply because they failed to give you what YOU the customer paid for.
50% of the game isn't cut scenes. Secondly, do YOU even own a ps3 or have you even PLAYED MGS4 to validate your claim Mart?
See, I HAVE the game. So I can tell you first hand that 50% of the game is cut scenes remark is BS

Microsoft said they were making profit on the xbox brand.
But this zdnet editorial from the link says they have yet to make a profit.
Maybe MS is fighting a battle on TOO many fronts. Hardware, Software, Gaming, mobile devices. Gps. Etc.
But then again. Sony and Apple both do more than just one or two things as well. So maybe MS isn't fighting too many battles for all I know.
For all I know, this could the result of too many higher executiv...
I was actually shocked that megaman 9 was a snes game considering megaman 8 was a playstation game.
The proof is in the pudding. Blu ray is slowly becoming mainstream. The ps3 is outselling the 360. MS has rumors flying around that they want to adopt blu ray.
So as you can see my dear 360 fanboy, no "whining" needed (on my end anyway)
"So when Sony drops Blu, which will happen and then ask you to buy the DD version, thats not asking you to buy the movie twice?"
I assume you speak from experience when you say that crap right? Sounds...
Many of the 360 fans here loved to say "oh Sony fans are just making excuses".
Well, look at what the 360 fans seem to be doing now
MS wants your 360 multiple times considering they never even attempted to recall their older versions with the rrod (the rrod problem the denied until too many sources confirmed it). But you don't complain about that now do you?
I love it when people take words out of context. Have you even given thought to the fact that he might have meant "future" as in AFTER the up and coming disc format (blu ray)
Sometimes you people act like you don't have common sense...
And most of you jump all over it as "Sony confusing people".
The PSN network will be around for GENERATIONS. Not just the ps3. Nobody even considered that he could have meant "future" as in AFTER blu ray.
The bottom line here is that it shares the suck factor that the previous alone in the dark games have.
Different team of developers, same lackluster game
Different core game play (as you implied), same lackluster game
Until someone steps up the game on this franchise to compete with Silent Hill and Resident Evil, Alone in the dark will FOREVER suck
NOBODY is comparing the games.
The SITUATIONS are being compared. Not the games themselves.
You are going to start an argument with the comments you make. But that's nothing new at n4g. I'm not going to say anyone is a fanboy here. But the comments speak for themselves here.
He was just bringing to point how some people in their previews were talking so highly of it. Yet when the reviews came around it was like the pulled a 180 and said TOTALLY opposite of what they said in their previews
Exactly!
I remember how much reviewers like gamespot and ign were talking about how great Lair's controls were when they had HANDS ON previews of the game. Then when the reviews came around that said how bad the controls were.
Word of advice, NEVER trust previews
Edit-@Riotsquad,
Yeah, that game too. lol
This game was nearly complete by the time he got to Atari. So I don't blame this game on him
The alone in the dark games have ALWAYS been bad. Next gen tech doesn't always make for a great game. As long as this series continues to keep the core gameplay of its predecessors, it will always suck.
The bad part is within the next month or so, Atari might be totally bankrupt. Not just partially like they are now. They as a company had so much riding on THIS game.
And to be honest, any respectable company that sues over a review score isn't that respectable to begin with.
So this makes Atari look really bad.
you just brought attention to the point I was trying to make.
If this is indeed a Sony employee, why would the person leak something like this out? And even more so, why would the person have to "prove" anything?
Something just doesn't seem right about it man
And to be honest, that ID tag doesn't really prove anything. I'm not saying it's fake. But I will say it isn't that hard to make your own laminated ID card like that. I can understand why ...
